Covid-19 : Boris Johnson ‘deeply sorry’ as UK Deaths exceed 100,000

Prime Minister Boris Johnson holds a press conference with England’s chief medical officer Chris Whitty and England’s NHS chief executive Sir Simon Stevens. The UK death toll from coronavirus has passed 100,000, according to government figures. A total of 100,162 people have died in the UK within 28 days of a positive Covid test since the start of the pandemic.
