‘Liquid Tree’ to combat air pollution

Air pollution is a growing concern in urban areas worldwide with dire consequences for human health and the environment. Belgrade the capital of Serbia, is no exception for being the fourth most polluted city in the country. Hence in an effort to combat this problem, scientists have developed an innovative solution called the “Liquid tree,” an urban photo-bio-reactor that will help harness the power of micro-algae to improve air quality.
